RUTHIE GOLDIN Ruthie Goldin, aged 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2005 after a short bout with pneumonia. She will be sadly missed by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Hinda Goldin; sisters, Bertha Golden (Morris), Esther Rubinstein (Moe), Florence Zinman (Bill) and brother Mickey Goldin (Helen). She is survived by her sister Evelyn Golden (Don) and many nieces and nephews, also great and great-great nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She in turn showered them with much love and little gifts and from an early age when they just learned to talk, they referred to her as Ree Ree . Ruthie lived with her mother for many years and during that time and until her retirement was active in her own accounting business. Ruthie had serious health problems in her life and after her second hip replacement, went and resided at the Sharon Home where she spent the last three years of her life. During this time her nephew, Bobby Zinman was her liaison to the outside world and was very devoted to her. Services were held at the Sharon Home Chapel and burial at the Hebrew Sick Cemetery on Friday, December 23. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Ruthie's memory to the Sharon Home, 146 Magnus Avenue East in Winnipeg.
